Terms of Service

1. The service

Md2Pdf turns Markdown into print-ready documents. You paste Markdown, preview real pagination in the browser, then export a PDF file or use your system's print dialog. Writing and previewing in the editor are free; exporting is part of the paid Pro entitlement described in section 3.

2. Accounts

Writing and previewing need no account. Exporting does: you sign in so your entitlement can follow you across devices and browsers. You are responsible for keeping access to your account; losses caused by sharing access are yours.

3. Free writing, paid export

Free, no account: writing and live preview in the editor, including full Markdown typesetting, auto table of contents, headers and footers, page-number control and the three Chinese layout presets.

Pro, paid: every way of getting the document out — one-click PDF file download without the print dialog, export or printing through the system print dialog (including saving a searchable vector PDF), and exporting the Markdown source — plus a clean footer carrying only the page number, with no "Md2Pdf" tag. Nothing about the exported document is degraded for Pro: the same features and the same output quality apply to every export path.

The Pro benefits listed here are the complete set you are purchasing. Future features are not included unless and until they are delivered, and nothing here promises them by a date.

4. Prices, licence and renewal

Current prices are shown on the pricing page and at checkout. Taxes (VAT / GST / sales tax) are calculated and added by our payment provider based on your location.

• Lifetime plan (one-off payment): a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for you to use the Pro features of Md2Pdf, under these terms. Valid as long as the service exists.
• Yearly subscription: billed in advance for each one-year period. It renews automatically every year at the then-current price until you cancel. Cancel any time from your account or by emailing us; you keep Pro access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not refund the unused part of a period unless the refund policy says otherwise.
• Credit plans (mainland China Alipay channel): each credit unlocks one export. Unused credits do not expire while your account exists.

Prices may change for new purchases. Existing subscriptions keep the price they started with until renewed at the current price; existing lifetime licences are not affected.

5. Refunds

Refunds work as described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use Md2Pdf to:

• create, distribute or store unlawful material, including content that exploits or sexualises minors, content that incites violence or hatred, or content that infringes someone else's copyright, trademark or trade secret;
• generate spam, phishing material, malware, or documents used to deceive or defraud others;
• interfere with the service: probe, scrape at scale, attack, reverse engineer, resell access, share a purchased account, or bypass entitlement checks;
• resell, rebrand or redistribute exported output as a competing service.

We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who breaks these rules, without refunding amounts already paid.

7. Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is". Features may change. We aim for high availability but do not promise uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for loss of documents — keep your own Markdown source, since that is the file you own.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of your use of Md2Pdf is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

9. Termination

You may stop using Md2Pdf at any time. If we discontinue the service, we will refund the unused portion of subscriptions started within the previous 12 months, and post reasonable advance notice.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes should first be sent to us by email so we can try to resolve them directly.

一、服务说明

Md2Pdf 把 Markdown 排成可直接打印的文档：粘贴内容、在浏览器里预览真实分页、导出 PDF 或使用系统打印。编辑器内的写作与预览永久免费；导出属于付费的 Pro 权益，详见第三条。

二、账号

写作与预览无需注册。导出需要登录，这样权益可跨设备、跨浏览器使用。请自行保管账号；因出借账号造成的损失由你承担。

三、免费写作与付费导出

免费、无需注册：编辑器内的写作与实时预览，包含完整的 Markdown 排版、自动目录、页眉页脚、分页控制与三套中文排版预设。

Pro（付费）：一切把文档交付出来的方式——一键导出 PDF 文件（不弹打印对话框）、系统打印导出与纸张打印（含保存可搜索的矢量 PDF）、导出 Markdown 源文件——以及只保留页码、不带 "Md2Pdf" 标记的干净页脚。Pro 的导出产物不做功能或质量降级：所有导出路径的功能与输出质量完全一致。

此处列出的权益即为你本次购买获得的全部内容；未来新增功能不属于已购权益，本条款不承诺任何未交付的功能或上线时间。

四、价格、授权与续费

当前价格以定价页与收银台显示为准。税费（增值税 / GST / 销售税）由收款服务商按你所在地区计算并加收。

• 买断套餐（一次性付费）：授予你在本条款下使用 Md2Pdf 的 Pro 功能的永久、非独占、不可转让许可，服务存续期间长期有效。
• 年订阅套餐：按每个一年期预先扣费，每年按当期价格自动续费，直到你取消为止。可在账户内或发邮件随时取消；取消后仍享有 Pro 权益到已付费周期结束。除退款政策另有说明外，周期内未使用部分不退费。
• 次卡套餐（中国大陆支付宝通道）：每次导出消耗一次额度；账号存续期间剩余额度不过期。

新购价格可能调整。已存在的订阅在续费前沿用开通时价格，续费时按当期价格执行；已购买断授权不受影响。

五、退款

退款规则见退款政策，该政策构成本条款的一部分。

六、可接受使用

不得利用 Md2Pdf 从事以下行为：

• 制作、传播或存储违法内容，包括涉及未成年人的性剥削或性化内容、煽动暴力或仇恨的内容，以及侵犯他人著作权、商标权、商业秘密的内容；
• 生成垃圾信息、钓鱼材料、恶意软件，或用于欺骗、诈骗他人的文档；
• 干扰服务运行：大规模探测或抓取、攻击、反向工程、转售使用权、与他人共用已购账号、绕过权益校验；
• 转售、贴牌或再分发导出成品用于竞争性服务。

违反上述规则时，我们可在不退还已付费用的前提下暂停或终止服务。

七、可用性与变更

服务按「现状」提供，功能可能调整。我们追求高可用，但不承诺服务不中断；对文档丢失不承担责任——请自行留存 Markdown 源文件，那是属于你的文件。

八、责任限制

在适用法律允许范围内，因使用 Md2Pdf 而产生的全部责任，以你在索赔发生前 12 个月内支付给我们的金额为上限；不对间接损失或后果性损失负责。

九、终止

你可随时停止使用。若服务下线，我们将退还近 12 个月内开通且订阅周期尚未用完的部分，并提前公告。

十、适用法律

本条款受中华人民共和国法律管辖。发生争议请先发邮件与我们协商处理。
