Privacy Policy

1. In short

Md2Pdf is a Markdown typesetting tool. Everything you type is rendered inside your own browser. Your document is not uploaded to our servers, not stored by us, and not used for anything else. We only keep the minimum data needed to run accounts and process payments.

2. What we collect

a. Documents you write

Nothing. Typesetting, pagination, preview and export all run locally in your browser. The text you paste stays on your device. We keep the tool's settings (paper size, margins, theme) in your browser's local storage so the page remembers them next time.

b. Account information (optional)

Writing and previewing in the editor require no account. Exporting does — if you sign in, authentication is handled by CloudBase (Tencent Cloud) using your Google account. We receive and store only:

• a unique user ID issued by the auth provider
• your email address
• your display name

We never see your Google password.

c. Purchase records

When you buy Pro, we store the order reference, product name, amount, currency, payment status and entitlement (which plan you hold and until when). Card numbers and full payment details are collected directly by the payment provider and are never sent to us.

d. Usage counters

For credit-based plans we store how many credits you have and how many were consumed, so your balance is correct across devices.

e. Basic technical logs

Our server keeps ordinary request logs (timestamp, route, status code) needed to operate and secure the service.

3. Who processes payments

Payments are handled by third-party payment providers acting as the merchant of record:

• Creem — card payments for customers outside mainland China
• Yirenfu (一人付) — Alipay payments for customers in mainland China

These providers collect billing details under their own privacy policies and are responsible for tax, invoicing and chargeback handling. Their handling of your data is governed by their respective policies.

4. Cookies and local storage

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. We use browser local storage only for:

• keeping your sign-in session
• remembering your interface language and editor settings
• caching your entitlement so pages load fast (refreshed from the server regularly)

We also count a few anonymous product events ourselves (page visit, opening the pricing dialog, clicking buy, order created, payment completed) to understand how the product is used. These counters are stored on our own servers as daily and per-channel totals — no IP address, no user agent, and no third-party analytics service is involved.

5. Sharing your data

We do not sell your data. We share it only with:

• our cloud infrastructure provider (Tencent Cloud CloudBase) which hosts the service
• our payment providers, to the extent needed to complete a purchase
• authorities, only where legally required

6. How long we keep it

Account and purchase records are kept for as long as your account exists, and afterwards for the period required by tax and accounting rules. Entitlement records are kept so a lifetime purchase stays valid. Request logs are rotated and deleted in the ordinary course of operation.

7. Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your account and associated records. Email us and we will handle it within 30 days.

8. Children

Md2Pdf is a general-purpose tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site.

一、一句话说明

Md2Pdf 是 Markdown 排版工具，你写的内容全部在你自己的浏览器里排版，不会上传到我们的服务器，我们也不保存、不拿去做别的事。我们只保留运行账号和处理支付所必需的最少数据。

二、我们收集什么

• 文档内容：不收集。排版、分页、预览、导出都在本地完成。工具栏的设置项（纸张、页边距、配色）存在浏览器本地，方便下次打开时记住。
• 账号信息（导出时需要）：写作与预览无需注册。若你要导出文档而选择登录，由腾讯云 CloudBase 通过 Google 账号完成鉴权，我们只保存鉴权方下发的用户 ID、邮箱、昵称，看不到你的 Google 密码。
• 购买记录：保存订单号、商品名、金额、币种、支付状态，以及你持有的权益（哪个套餐、有效期到什么时候）。银行卡号等支付信息由收款服务商直接采集，不会经过我们。
• 用量计数：次卡类套餐需要保存剩余次数与已消耗次数，保证换设备后余额正确。
• 基础技术日志：服务端常规请求日志（时间、路由、状态码），用于运行与安全。

三、谁来收款

由第三方收款服务商作为法定销售方处理支付：

• Creem —— 面向中国大陆以外用户的银行卡收款
• 一人付（Yirenfu） —— 面向中国大陆用户的支付宝收款

收款方按各自的隐私政策采集账单信息，并负责税务、发票与拒付处理。它们对你数据的处理受各自政策约束。

四、Cookie 与本地存储

不使用广告或跨站追踪 Cookie。浏览器本地存储只用于：保持登录状态、记住界面语言与编辑器设置、缓存权益状态以加快加载（会定期回服务端刷新）。

我们会自行统计少量匿名产品事件（访问页面、打开价格弹窗、点击购买、创建订单、付款成功），用于了解产品的使用情况。这些数据只以「按天 / 按渠道」的聚合计数存在我们自己的服务器上，不记录 IP 地址与浏览器标识，也不使用任何第三方统计服务。

五、数据共享

不出售你的数据。仅在以下情况共享：承载服务的云基础设施（腾讯云 CloudBase）、为完成支付而必需的收款服务商、以及法律法规要求时向主管部门提供。

六、保存期限

账号与购买记录在账号存续期间保留，之后按税务与财务规则要求的期限留存。买断类权益记录会长期保留，以保证"一次付费永久有效"。请求日志按常规轮换删除。

七、你的权利

你可以向我们索取已保存的个人数据副本、要求更正，或要求删除账号及相关记录。发邮件给我们，30 天内处理完毕。

八、未成年人

Md2Pdf 是通用工具，不面向 13 岁以下儿童，我们不会有意收集儿童数据。

九、政策更新

政策变更时会更新顶部日期；重大变更会在站内公告。
